Each year, Raudonų Plytų Brewery celebrates IPA Day with a special limited-edition brew — and we are invited to wrap it in a unique design. The 2024 edition draws inspiration from Lithuania’s Curonian Spit.

Fishing villages in this region use distinctive flags to mark their boats, forming a strong graphic language of geometric motifs that come together in the Curonian Spit coat of arms. These symbols echo throughout the local environment — in architecture, weather vanes, and ships.

We translated this visual system into the label design, reinterpreting it with bold typography and a crafted, hand-made feel, creating a balance between tradition and a contemporary graphic voice.

To preserve a sense of craft and authenticity, we embraced hand-made details and traditional illustration techniques, giving the final design both raw character and a human touch.
